    障碍单车运动简史-佩德罗·皮访谈录(图)

    佩德罗·皮(Pedro Pí)

      这段美妙的历史发生于二十世纪六十年代,佩德罗·皮(Pedro Pí)是著名的摩托障碍车手,赢得7届西班牙摩托越野赛冠军和首届西班牙障碍赛冠军。1974年,他的儿子奥特·皮(Ot Pí)4岁时也和其他孩子一样想要辆单车,可惜新车买了不久就失窃了。思考良久,佩德罗决定为儿子买辆非公路车(Off-road Bike),但在巴塞罗那买不到儿童用车,他堂兄弟的Motos Isern商店也没货。佩德罗决定借助在Montesa工作的便利自己做一辆车,于是Montesa T-05诞生,并形成今后的系列产品。

    Montesa T-05

      首辆单车采用了障碍骑行的结构,奥特可以在花园里无触地骑行,而先前被偷的那辆车却做不到这点。佩德罗凭直觉察觉到其潜力,拍了一张奥特跳跃18厘米小坡的照片,奥特无触地跃过了障碍。这张照片很长一段时间来成为Montesa单车的标志,但只是儿童车型,佩德罗随后开发了20英寸车轮的Montesa T-10,在Montesa工作的著名达喀尔车手Carlos Más成为首位试车者。

      佩德罗带着两辆原型车推荐给Montesa的老板Permanyer,Permanyer表示了兴趣但不愿意参与,公司可以支付费用,不过要在工厂以外进行。1年后单车生产出来了,Jaume Argemí告诉佩德罗Montesa首批车手之一的Andreu Codina使用与Montesa类似的单车玩障碍。佩德罗用业余时间制定了类似障碍摩托的障碍单车规则,并介绍给西班牙自行车联盟(Cyclist Spanish Federation),以期认证其归属于自行车还是摩托联盟。

    Montesa T-10

      隔了一段时间,佩德罗致电西班牙摩托联盟的Soriano先生商讨与自行车联盟的Puig先生举行会议,并在马德里确定了此项运动属于单车联盟管辖,名称定义为Trialsin("sin"在西班牙语是没有的意思,意指无动力、无噪音,无烟的障碍运动)。由于单车联盟认为Trialsin属于自行负担的项目,将其推向全球也成为一种幻想。Trialsin真正得到发展是因为站在前沿的各国代表,当安道尔举办世界锦标赛的时候,13位代表与佩德罗举行会议商谈自建联盟,会议一致同意成立国际障碍单车运动联盟(BIKETRIAL INTERNATIONAL UNION,简称BIU),Dressler先生成为组织机构转换的志愿者。目前,国际障碍单车运动联盟机构在世界各地日渐发展壮大。

    Ot与Pedro

      安道尔会议解决了西班牙以外的组织问题, 然而在西班牙的形势尚不稳定,随后在西班牙加泰罗尼亚的Berga举行的西班牙代表会议也取得了一致意见,决定西班牙也加入国际障碍单车联盟。Pep Bonet不得不签署了官方证明,两天后又致电佩德罗说犯了错误并希望最好能归属Trialsin。Pep Bonet放弃了国际障碍单车运动联盟,三年后认识到自己错了,国际障碍单车运动联盟已经成为现实,并代表了世界单车的最高水平。最后,Trialsin的Ginés Mataró和Pep Bonet一样,重返国际障碍单车运动联盟。事实上,Pinedo曾处于Trialsin的前沿......

    This wonderful history begins in the 60´s . Pedro Pí was a well-known trial rider who was 7 times Spanish MX Champion and the first Trial Spanish Champion. In 1974 , his little son Ot was 4 years old and , like all the children , he wanted a bike . Pedro Pí  , his father , bought one with a very bad luck because the bike was stolen. One later later , and thinking in his trial soul , Pedro decided to buy and off-road bike. He went to a famous store in Barcelone and asked about that bike. The answer was that one bike like that didn´t exist. He didn´t believe it and went to his brother-in-law bike shop ( Isern Bikes ) . The answer was the same and when he was convinced about it , he decided to make his own bicycle , taking advantage of his job in Monte- sa. That bike should be very strong and made in serial . That bike was Montesa T-05.

    First bike was made according to a trial riding geometry . Ot Pí got to do , in his garden, a very closed turn without any dub . He never go to do it with the stolen bike. Quickly , Pedro had the intuition about the potential of it and made a photo to Ot rising a little 18 cm step. He raised front wheel and moving himself forward , raised rear wheel without any dub.

    This pic was Montesa bikes logotype for a long time. But there was a little problem : T- 05 was only for children so Pedro decided to make a 20 inches bike . This bike was Montesa T-10 . Pedro neededa rider to test the bike . Carlos Más ( well-known Dakar rider ) was official pilot in Montesa so he was the first people who test Montesa bikes.

    When two prototypes were ready . Pedro introduced them to Mr. Permanyer( Montesa owner ) . Mr. Permanyer was very interested in them but he said to Pedro that Montesa , like a factory , couldn´t involve in it . Montesa will pay all , but the rest will be made out of the factory .
    One year later , the bikes were ready . Jaume Argemí said Pedro that he knew a guy who had a bike like Mon- tesa and he played trial with it . This guy is Andreu Codina and he was one the first official riders in Montesa bikes . Pedro , in his spare time , wrote the rules of a sport like trial but adapted to bikes . The rules were intro- duced to the Cyclist Spanish Federation to consider if that sport belong to bikes or motorcycle federation.

    Afew time later , Pedro was phoned by Mr. Soriano ( motorcycle federation ) to talk about a meeting with Mr. Puig ( cyclist federation ) , in Madrid . The decision was that cyclist federation will include that sport . The name of this sport was Trialsin ( sin motor , sin noise , sin smoke ) ( in Spanish "sin" it means "without" ).

    The hope that Trialsin could arrive to all the world was an illusion because cyclist federation always thought Trialsin was an imposed thing . Trialsin was really alive because the delegates of each country were in front of it. When World Championship were to Andorra , all the delegates talked with Pedro about a meeting to create their own federation . The meeting was praised with Pedro and 13 foreign delegates . The result of it was una- nimous : all delegates wanted their own federation . Mr Dressler from Chesck Republic was the volunteer to make the transits for the new federation . The new federation was the BIKETRIAL INTERNATIONAL UNION , and today is growing up more and more every day.

    WHY TRIALSIN IS STILL ALIVE ?

    Andorra´s meeting was only for foreign delegates but , here in Spain , decision wasn´t stable . A Spanish mee- ting was celebrated in Berga ( Catalonia ) with Spanish delegates . Their decision was unanimous , too. Spain wanted his own federation in Biketrial Internacional Union . Pep Bonet , had to write the official certifica- te but , to days later , he phoned Pedro Pí and said him that all was a mistake and the best thing was to be into the Trialsin. Mr. Bonet abandoned Biketrial . Three years later , Mr. Bonet recognised his mistake because Biketrial was a reality and the best riding level and the best riders were in Biketrial . Then , Ginés Mataró toke the command of Trialsin but , like Pep Bonet , He returned to Biketrial .
